CEPA in partnership with Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Youth Affairs (UPFYA), the Westminster foundation for Democracy (WFD), and Action Aid Uganda, successfully convened the third Youth Business Forum in Uganda. The forum was attended by over 200 participants comprising of the business community, young entrepreneurs, civil society, development partners, and policy makers among others. The discussion was centered on the theme “Building Sustainable Strategic Partnerships and Policy framework for supporting youth innovation and startups.”
The key note address was delivered by Mr. Antony Thompson the World Bank country Manager Uganda. During the event CEPA also launched the state of the Youth report 2019, which was produced in partnership with, the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, Action Aid Uganda, Restless development and UPFYA. The report assessed government investment in young people. Hon Elioda Tumwesigye, representing H.E the President gave closing remarks.
